The System Settings section enables you to customize the global system options. below come the main section elements:

The AdsCleaner enabled checkbox indicates the current operating mode of AdsCleaner.

The Launch AdsCleaner at system start-up checkbox manages the program startup at every Windows restart.
|

The Mark document as viewed radio button toggle allows you to configure when the program starts treating a document as viewed - either immediately when loaded or after a certain delay.

The Autosave options group provides access to the following settings:

The Enable autosave checkbox should generally be ticked and the feature enabled, otherwise data loss can occur in case of a system error.

The minutes field allows you to set the AdsCleaner database autosave period. Set a higher value if you experience performance problems during autosave.

The Visited hyperlinks management group:

The Delete hyperlink from Visited hyperlinks when the hyperlinks number exceeds checkbox allows you to enable the automatic hyperlink deletion mode. You can specify the allowed number of simultaneously stored hyperlinks in the input box with a scrollbar. When this number is exceeded, the newly generated hyperlinks will automatically replace the oldest ones.

The Delete hyperlink from Visited hyperlinks when the hyperlink is stored more then checkbox allows you to specify the deadline for automatic hyperlinks deletion. You can set the deadline for a particular hyperlink after which the hyperlink will automatically be removed.

Show splash screen on start up checkbox - untick it if you don't want to view program splash screen at IENavigator start up.
